Surely 11 September 2001 will live in national memory for a very long time. If you don't know what happened, I can't imagine what cave you've been sequestered in. Evil men hijacked 4 planes and crashed 2 into the World Trade Center, destroying it, one in to the Pentagon, badly damaging one of the 5 sides. And a fourth crashed in Pennsylvania thanks to the brave passengers who prevented the terrorists from completing their mission. The terrorist killed thousands and we a still answering the questions who are they, why did they do these unspeakable horrible things? We morn for those who have been killed and their families and friends who have lost loved ones. How ever I know they have gone on to a far better world and God will take care of them.

President Bush has started mission "Infinite Justice", I fully support his efforts to bring those responsible to justice. President Bush has declared war on terrorism which is a big mission and will take years. We need to be patient while all this progresses. We need to encourage him to wipe out any terrorist groups, their supporters and make it known to all nations we will not tolerate any nation that sponsors or harbors terrorists. There are already pansies calling for peace, and even some saying it is our fault the attacks on us took place. They are full of crap. We need to speak out against these idiots.

As for us, we need to go about our lives as best we can, just as we did before 11 September. If we change our life styles, our country because of this terrorist attack then they have won! Go out and travel just as you would of before, take your vacations, etc. Live your life to it's fullest! Seize the Day! Thank God for every day that you have and enjoy his blessings.

One thing that concerns me is the restriction of passengers on airlines of carrying anything that could be used as a weapon. This is not what we need to do, if anything we need to arm everyone so the next time some terrorist stands up and says they are taking over the plane everyone who can attack them and kill them right there. We need to close off the cockpits of airliners so the pilots can not be attacked. We also need to keep a much closer eye on our boarders and immigration to keep those who are anti-American out of this country.

I haven't had time to compose any particular thoughts. Right now Congress is in recess, thank goodness! I believe it was Samuel Clement who said no man's liberty or property was safe while the legislature was in session, he sure had hit that nail on the head. I have a couple of items for you to take activist roles in. The first one will open a new window that will allow you to e-mail the congress men who can keep the current moratorium on taxation of the internet.

The second is one I'm sure many of you feel strongly about, the issue which both sides feel strongly about, abortion. Those on the side for claim it is about choice. I submit that the choice was made when it was decided to engage in an action which pregnancy can result. To do so outside of marriage is wrong, and producing a child which isn't wanted is even more wrong. Using abortion to change the consequences of such actions only compounds a sin and is plainly wrong, a mortal sin I'm quite sure. I'm not saying abortion is wrong in all cases, but most cases it is. The only times it is acceptable is when medical care determines that the mother's life is in danger and there is no alternative, the baby is deformed or not viable, or the result of rape or incest, even then alternatives should be prayerfully sought. The vast majority of the million or so abortions in this country each year is for the purpose of birth control. Birth control should take place before taking the chance of contraception. For those not married (to each other) it should start with abstinence which is the only 100% proven effective method of preventing unwanted pregnancy's.

Third "McCain-Feingold/Shays-Meehan" Campaign Finance Reform bill is still a threat to your freedom of speech and does little to reform campaign finance corruption in elections. What we need is to elect honest men not dangerous bills like this. If you care about liberty please sign this petition as well.
