With a love for fine sewing instilled my her mother and grandmother, Alix began working with needles and threads at an very early age.
Following a career with the United Nations in New York City, she decide to follow her own "pattern" or passion in life.
She left the UN offices to run a home-based custom clothing, interior decorating and design business.
In order to build her natural flair and skill, Alix attended FIT, and Earned a certificate in Fashion Design, Patternmaking and Clothing Construction from the French Fashion Academy.
Her Work has been seen in the international film screen, worn by musical performers and auctioned at natural benefits.
Alix's work has also been widely published in the leading sewing magazines.
Second only to her three children, her love for sewing knows few bounds.
Today Alix is an international educator teaching in the United States, Canada and South America.
She loves to teach and help others find their passion for sewing.
