Unit 3: Communication between God and Man
Chapter 10: contents">Scriptures:

Concept 1: Introduction

"When the Lord's servants speak or write under the influence of the Holy Ghost, their words become scripture (D&C 68:4  "And whatsoever they shall speak when moved upon by the Holy Ghost shall be scripture, shall be the will of the Lord, shall be the mind of the Lord, shall be the word of the Lord, shall be the voice of the Lord, and the power of God unto salvation.").  From the beginning, the Lord has commanded his prophets to keep a record of his revelations and his dealings with his children.  He said: "For I command all men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them; for out of the 2books which shall be written I will judge the world, every man according to their works, according to that which is written." (2 Nephi 29:11)."

Moroni 10:4-5
"4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things."
