Unit 2: Leaving the Presence of God
Chapter 6: The Fall of Adam and Eve
Concept 1: Adam and Eve Were the First to Come to Earth

"God prepared this earth as a home for his children.  Adam and Eve were chosen to be the first people to live on the earth (Moses 1:34  "And the first man of all men have I called Adam, which is many.").  Their part in our Father's plan was to bring mortality into the world.  They were to be the first parents.  (D&C 107:54-56  "54 And the Lord appeared unto them, and they rose up and blessed Adam, and called him Michael, the prince, the archangel.
55 And the Lord administered comfort unto Adam, and said unto him: I have set thee to be at the head; a multitude of nations shall come of thee, and thou art a prince over them forever.
56 And Adam stood up in the midst of the congregation; and, notwithstanding he was bowed down with age, being full of the Holy Ghost, predicted whatsoever should befall his posterity unto the latest generation.")

Moroni 10:4-5
"4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things."
