Why Christians should Vote Republican updated 10/01/00

I will state some of the reasons why I find the Democrat party to be incompatible with being a Christian. Which party supports abortion and has fought any laws to put any limits on abortion? The Democrats of course, recently they have fought laws to make it illegal for teenagers to have abortions with out parental consent. They have stopped a ban on Partial Birth Abortion, an abhorrent procedure. Thanks to Clinton, RU-486 the abortion drug has been allowed in this country. One of the first things he did when he was elected was to reverse an order by President George Bush banning the drug and then allowed the FDA to issue a study and allow it to be brought to market.

Many argue that abortion is about choice and some think this is free agency. How ever I will contend that the choice was made when it was decided to engage in activity that risks pregnancy. Abortion is murder in my opinion and aborting a child which is unwanted is the combination of multiple extremely serious sins. Make no mistake, the huge number of abortions that happen in this country every year the majority are for birth control. It is an outgrowth of the destruction of the family, morality and the "sexual revolution" is nothing more than rampant immorality. Unmarried couples, rampant divorce, domestic violence are just some of the other examples of rapid decline of our society in the last few decades. The Democrats have enabled and supported much of it. Thanks to Clinton ("who Gore called the greatest president of our time") our children know what oral sex is, kinky things to do with objects like cigars and that such thing really aren't sex. The same Democrats have decried sexual harassment, but when Clinton does it, some how it is personal matter and not a legal one. If Clinton had been a Republican you know the Democrats and liberal women's groups would of been yelling for his head. Wonder if they know Christ doesn't approve of hypocrisy either? I doubt very much that they care, some like Clinton profess to be Christian but their actions don't back up their claims.

We are told that sexual immorality and murder are the two most serious sins there are. Aborting a child conceived outside of wedlock has to be a combination of the most serious of sins. Other examples of moral decline Clinton / Gore have been behind are allowing homosexuals in the military with their "don't ask, don't tell" policy. Now they are trying to force the Boy Scouts to allow homosexual scout masters and everyone else to treat homosexual partners like a married Man and Woman. God has commanded us that sex is a sin when ever it takes place outside the bounds of marriage between a MAN and a WOMAN. Anything else is a sin, if you think other wise you need to study your scriptures better. If your church teaches other wise and treats homosexuals and other sinners like they are "normal" I recommend you find a different church.

We will be judged by God for our actions and thoughts, and I contend we will be held accountable for our support of the sins of others. If we vote for people to represent us who are for abortion or other immoral actions we are upholding their sins and the sins of those they enable though their actions. The Democrats support abortion and many other anti-family and anti-Christian issues, even openly attacking the "Christian Right". Therefore voting for Democrats is wrong if you are a Christian. If you have a problem with what I just wrote and are a Christian you need to rethink your beliefs, you can not serve two masters. I don't know about you, but I proud to be one of the Christian Right! There is no "Vast Right Wing Conspiracy" as Hillary! said, only right thinking people pointing out his huge faults and sinful nature.

We have been asked to be informed and active in our community by Christian leaders, this extends to national issues. I take this seriously and act accordingly. We should choose our leaders according to the principles of Christianity. There is only one party that has a pro-family and anti abortion stance in it's party platform. That is the Republican party, so I ask you to seriously consider what I've said and if you disagree to ponder and pray about it. Then I ask you to support your Republican candidates and go vote in the coming election for George Bush. It is vitally important to finally put an end to the Clinton / Gore reign which has been a disgrace to this country and probably the most corrupt Presidency this county has ever had.

This is part of the Republican platform on Renewing Family and Community, it can be found in whole on the RNC Website.

Renewing Family and Community

"The Supreme Court's recent decision, prohibiting states from banning partial-birth abortions a procedure denounced by a committee of the American Medical Association and rightly branded as four-fifths infanticide shocks the conscience of the nation. As a country, we must keep our pledge to the first guarantee of the Declaration of Independence.

That is why we say the unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life which cannot be infringed. We support a human life amendment to the Constitution and we endorse legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendment's protections apply to unborn children. Our purpose is to have legislative and judicial protection of that right against those who perform abortions. We oppose using public revenues for abortion and will not fund organizations which advocate it. We support the appointment of judges who respect traditional family values and the sanctity of innocent human life.

Our goal is to ensure that women with problem pregnancies have the kind of support, material and otherwise, they need for themselves and for their babies, not to be punitive towards those for whose difficult situation we have only compassion. We oppose abortion, but our pro-life agenda does not include punitive action against women who have an abortion. We salute those who provide alternatives to abortion and offer adoption services, and we commend congressional Republicans for expanding assistance to adopting families and for removing racial barriers to adoption. The impact of those measures and of our Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997 has been spectacular. Adoptions out of foster care have jumped forty percent and the incidence of child abuse and neglect has actually declined. We second Governor Bush's call to make permanent the adoption tax credit and expand it to $7,500."

Why you should support Bush for President updated 4/02/00

First I want to start off with a question. Why is it when the Republicans want to cut taxes the Democrats and their co-conspirators in the media call it risky, budget busting, irresponsible and will ruin any chance of paying off the debt', but when Clinton proposed billions and billions of new spending in his state of the union speech, the Democrats keep introducing more spending and Gore promises more and more to get himself elected, it is never pointed out that this really will ruin any chance of paying off the debt and bust the budget? How come the truth is never told that when Reagan cut taxes that federal tax revenues went up dramatically. The reason the debt went up also was in order to get his tax cuts through the Democrat controlled congress he had to give them the spending increases they wanted. Also he spent a lot of NEEDED money on our Military which had been gutted by Carter.

Bush, when he is elected will have to also increase spending on our Military. Clinton has cut Military spending to the bone and we are having to strip working aircraft in order to keep front line aircraft working in all the places that Clinton has sent them, such as Bosinia and Cosivo. In the last nine years our Military has been cut in half but as been sent increasingly all over the world. Military pay has not been increased in years and service people are living on food stamps to support their families. More and more of them are leaving the Military and we don't have enough to keep our Air Force and Navy at full strength. This is main reason we have a budget surplus, because Clinton has vetoed any other spending cuts the Republicans have managed to pass. The other is Clinton passed the largest tax increase in history. Gore thinks the same way, the only difference I see between the two is Gore doesn't cheat on his wife as far as I know.

I could go on and on all the things the Clinton/Gore administration has done wrong. But I won't, I think you know we must elect a Republican President, House and Senate in order to change things around. The Democrats only care about keeping power and don't care what they do to the country in order to do so. They are out of control, totally corrupt and insane.

I admit Bush wasn't my first choice but he is the only one left who has a chance of winning the presidency that I'd even consider voting for. I therefore support Bush for president and ask everyone to rally behind him so we can defeat the extreme liberal Owl Gore. Any of the third party candidates don't have a chance of winning and a vote for them only wastes your vote at best and worse could help Gore get elected like a vote for Perot did during the Clinton v Bush SR election.
Thank you.

If you are thinking of not voting or voting for a third party, don't! We need everyone to turn out and do their best to elect a Republican president, House and Senate. Read why below.

Electing a Conservative government updated 7/06/99

We have elections coming up next year and the candidates are gearing up. I have somewhat to say about it.

I am not a fan of the Republican party, even though I belong to it. However, like it or not, we have a two party system and other parties exist only to protest and make noise. If you want change, you have to work in the two party system to do it. If you don't like the Republican party because it isn't conservative enough, then the solution is for all you Libertarians and other conservative dissidents to join the Republican party and push out the damn moderates and liberals in the party who are screwing everything up! Allowing them to push you out and join the Libertarian Party, the Reformed Party (Perot's megalomania party), the American Tax Payer Party or whom ever, only makes the Republican party more moderate and draws votes away which then allow people like Bill Clinton to be elected!!! Yes, Bush sucked, and Dole sucked even more, but if your honest with yourself, you have to admit they would of been a damn sight better than the Clinton administration. If Perot had not started the reform party and drawn away part of the vote from Bush he would of won and we wouldn't of had a Clinton misadministration in the first place. There is no question in my mind that Perot hates Bush, that this and his ego were the two reasons he started the Reform party. Bush didn't help matters by promising "No New Taxes" and then raising taxes.

We have had splinter third parties since the beginning of the country more or less. NONE of them have had any major success or come close to winning the presidency. None have ever gotten more than 27% (Teddy Roosevelt, Bull Moose party 1912) of the popular vote (most less than 10%) and a few states in the electoral collage in a presidential election. In rare cases a few seats in the House of Representatives and a few governorships were won and that is the limit of their success and it never amounted to anything over a couple of election cycles. Voting for third parties as a protest only dilutes the vote and an can allow the party you want least to win. The solution to problems in the Republican party is to reform the party within. If you don't help do this then you are part of the problem. Don't be part of the problem, be part of the solution!

Michael Medved covered the history of third Parties on his 5 July 1999 show. I didn't catch the name of the company, but the show is available as part of the Living History Series and can be ordered at 1-800-468-0464. He didn't mention what the cost was.

A presidency isn't one person, they bring with them their whole administration who promote their view points. They also replace judges, and this is where the liberals have done the most damage, by putting in liberal activist judges, who continue to do damage LONG after the president is gone. Don't forget the bureaucracy they put in as well, which probably are as damaging as the judges. Carter was only in for one term but the judges and bureaucrats he put in office continued with their liberal views long after he was gone. These people at every turn fight reducing government and their roles in it.

Eight years of Clinton/Gore has done incalculable damage to this country. He has put two liberal judges on the Supreme Court. One of his first acts as president was to replace many judges and government lawyers with liberal ones. He has issued a record number of Executive Orders which circumvent the legislative process. With an Executive Order he made a huge portion of southern Utah a national park and stopped coal mining there. This coal is especially clean burning and the only other place in the world it is found is Indonesia. The Indonesians made big soft money campaign contributions to the democrat party.. The Chinese made big soft money campaign contributions and they got the technology to build ICBM's capable of hitting the US.. He has gutted the military and sent them all over the world. His administration as been responsible for Waco, Ruby Ridge, Zipper Gate, the dozens of his acquaintances and administration that has been convicted of various crimes. The amount of corruption around him is mind boggling. He is not just a bad person, he is an Evil person. If you disagree and think they have done a good job, there IS something seriously wrong with your head! Do the rest of us who know better a favor, NEVER vote again!

It is long past time we turned things around. If we stand united as conservatives instead of splinter groups we can put in a Republican president with a majority in both houses. The House and Senate have not been able to over turn Clinton constantly threatening and vetoing them. The Democrats pound us all the time because they despite their differences they stand TOGETHER and attack with one voice against their enemy, the conservative movement. They also have the liberal media on their side.. We must stand TOGETHER and go on the offensive against them. If you don't think they are the enemy, you are wrong. They most certainly consider us theirs!
